Dear Friends,

Please accept my sincere greetings.

Our heartiest felicitations on the occasion of the 38th Installation ceremony of Rotary Club of Rangpur. Thanks to IPP Rtn. Md. Abul Kashem and his team for an excellent and very effective Rotary year 2014-2015.

We have started for a new Rotary year of service. RI President K.R. Ravindran said "all of us reach a point in our lives when must decide what we want our legacy to be. Do we want to be remembered for the material things we pursued or the relationship we nurtured? Do we want others to recall only the cars we drove of the jobs we had when they think of us? Will this world be better off for our having been in it ?"

Last three years we had tremendous growth in membership, now it is high time to focus on quality. So let us back to basic and concentrate on learning and sharing Rotary. We have only 209 days this year. Plan effectively and focus on Global Grants, District Grants and Club Service Projects. Let-us build Rotary Public Image by capitalizing our Service projects.

Our RI President K.R. Ravindran has given us an epigrammatic theme this year - "Be a gift to the world". It is very important for us to realize how, we can be a gift, a cause of pleasure and satisfaction for those who are deprived of the sweets of life. We need to understand the dynamics of changing social need and accordingly navigate our resources.

To qualify for the Presidential Citation, your club must complete two mandatory activities and additional activities as described in each category. Some activities will be verified by the information you enter in Rotary Club Central. Our activities will be verified automatically when you initiate a specific action.

To improve our capacity to accurately measure our goals. Rotary International has enhanced the tools we use to gather and analyze data. These improvements will allow all levels of district and clubs to measure and assess their respective performance. Let us move Ahead and Aim High. Review our strength and maximise our potential and be a successful person in profession, create a happy family, manage time effectively. We need to balance effectively between our profession, family and Rotary and deliver excellence.

My wife Nasreen and I wish a very successful installation of the President Rtn. Khandaker Shahidul Khurram and his Board. I have the confidence on Club President Rtn. Khandaker Shahidul Khurram and his team will deliver the difference and mark the Rotary year as an excellent year to Be a gift to the world.

I am sure the President Rtn. Khandaker Shahidul Khurram will involve all the club members to achieve our District Goal for net one thousand membership development, One million dollars Global Grant Projects and high public image through service project. 

Let us all enjoy Rotary and combine our fellow feeling and workmanship as a TEAM, so that we can uphold our movement, bigger, bolder and stronger. Aim High-Think Big and move ahead to make an effective and memorable Rotary Year 2015-2016, Let us mark our self and Be a gift to the world.
